BMR Relocation Brackets????

I gonna be lowering my car pretty soon. I was told that these brackets are a must. I was gonna get the weld-in brackets but then I thought that the bolt in brackets would be better (just incase I decide to trade it in for an LS1) Is there a difference between the bolt-in and the Weld-in brackets? will the bolt-in brackets loosen up over time. Will the car hook better with the Weld-in???
Thanks Ya'll

I would never use or trust anything that's not welded.

I second that, especially if you plan to do any serious drag racing.

If you ever wan to take them off, get the bolt on ones. If you have a need, you can always weld them.

BMR told me this:
If your car eventually dips into the 10's or you are pulling less than a 1.5 60 ft/time, we do recommend welding them into place but for any other application, they are designed to be a bolt-in.
My bolt-ins have been fine for over 2 years. The design is good, the metal stout. They aren't going anywhere.

What you choose may be a personal preference and maybe a matter of need, but bolts can break and so can welds.

The difference is that the bolt ins are powder coated and the weld ins are not, and the bolt ins have a "tab" that mounts to the lower shock mount which is what hold them in place.
They won't loosen if you install them properly.
The car won't hook any differently with either.
IMO if you weld them they are better than the weld ins because they have the extra strength of the lower shock mount.

No, they don't make a huge difference. Just a little less wheelspin.
They have 2 mounting points so when you lower the car just move the LCAs to the lower set of holes.
