Question BMR LCA Relocation bracket Q's

Racing on a small budget with no traction, I'm tryin' to do somethin about it here... I want to get the BMR LCA relocation brackets now, and a new rear maybe 6-8 months down the road (hopefully).
BMR's site says the bolt-on brackets don't work with aftermarket rears. What I would like to do is buy the bolt-on brackets, put them on now, then modify them when needed for the new rear I get (cut off those tabs, grind off the paint and weld them up).

Here are the pics I found of the 2, and I don't see why I can't do this. Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks,

Don't see why you could not do exactly as you are describing.

OK, cool, I was hoping for that answer but if anyone thinks otherwise, please chime in.
Just to make things clear, my new rear will be a Moser 9" or 12-bolt.
