blown + intercooled LT1 1/4 time

Mods are in my sig.
What do you think it will do in 1/4.

How are you running a blower and 24# injectors? I would think they would max out pretty quickly.

A Fuel Management Unit (FMU) bumps up the fuel pressure based on boost level to allow the 24# injectors to flow more.

I think you'll get better responses in the Forced Induction Section of this board.

13.172 @ 110.56 - w' 2.16 60' if your tune is half-baked. Subtract another two-tenths with an improved tune and traction.

Your tires will be your main drawback.

Upgrade those injectors. I'm sure that they are not too happy running at 9000% duty cycle at WOT.

i have similar mods as you. p600b at 8#, 3 core intercooler, 42# fuel injectors, bbk headers, bbk throttle body, borla catback, spec stage 3 clutch, NGK tr6, delteq and thats about it for the big stuff. first time out with the blower i ran 12.8@110 1.9 60'. that was with a tune from PCM forless. it was a good tune just to get it running, but i got tunercat and did some of my own tinkering. leaned it out a little, added some timing...got me to 12.1@116 with a 1.9 60' my IAT's were around 150 degrees with it only being 60 outside, im thinking about getting a fan behind the intercooler, or possibly like a alky injection.

I have an FMU

I am aware that I will need bigger injectors. 36 #'s will be on their way.

I think a FMU is a band aid. Id get bigger injectors and delete the fmu.

I saw a very similar combination run consistent 12.5's on BFG Comp T/A rubber. With a best that I witnessed of 12.3XX. The only difference between your's and his was header brand (Hooker) and he had a 2 row intercooler. Trap speed was in the 113-115 range.

FWIW I had better luck running the 24lb SVO's vs. 30's in combination with the FMU. But then I still don't know exactly what/where to tweak with LT1 Edit.

Mid 12's would be nice. I am in the process of buying some DR's and bigger injectors. The FMU will be fine for now, The previous owner had no problems, neither do many people that I have heard of. Yea the bigger injectors would work best, but it should be ok for now. What tune would you reccomend? Madz28 or pcmforless?
