Question Block drain plug on passenger side??

Today I went to install the JET fan switch module on my T/A and I could not find the block drain plug to screw the sensor into on the passenger side. All that was there was the knock sensor. In the instructions it says there should be a drain plug there...What gives?? It says it fits 93-95's and I have a 95. What do you think is wrong?? Did newer (96-97) blocks only have a knock sensor on the passenger side because there is a possibility that my engine block is not original?? Thanks.

The only block drain plug on my 94 is on the Drivers side just behind the motor mount. This plug only really drains the drivers side of the block. The knock sensor is located in almost the same spot on the passenger side.

They are not talking about the block drain plug. They are talking about the water jacket plug that is in the head. It has a square drive that is 5/16 (pretty sure) and is symmtetrically opposite the temp sensor that is in the RH head. It is very hard to get to and hard to get out. Instead, some people have put in a brass "T" in one of the heater hoses instead. That makes it a lot easier. If you put the sensor in the heater hose, you also have to run a ground wire to ground the body of the sensor.

Thanks Shoebox, once again you've solved a problem for me. I'm gonna try and get the bolt off. I've never heard of a 5/16 driver (that's what you need), but I've been told they exist. It's not too hard for me to get at it because I have headers.
