I know this isnt relating to the LT1 engine but to LT1 Camaros in general. Where can I find a good deal on some blackouts? I've looked everywhere but can't find those headlight blackouts with the clear circles so that I don't have to take them off at night... some non-plain taillight blackouts would be cool too.

Most popular f-body online vendors carry black-outs for Zs. Look on eBay as well.

Summit and Jegs sell them. They both have websites, and 1-800#. Give them a call, or go to Pep Boys or whatever large automotive chain that's by you, and ask them to special order you a set. I think you need a kit to mask the clear covers to your specs, then you spray them. That's if you want the round lights look.

They are usually about 40 dollars for a set, both front and back are sold. Total for both sets should be under 100.

 

www.rksport.com and www.yearone.com carry the blackouts--but I've yet to see anyone carry the type you're wanting. You may have to buy the clear covers and paint them yourself.
