Bilstein Shocks, Front-1913/Rear-1914

Has anyone put these shocks on there car? I have aftermarket springs (DMS) and I would like to make sure everything is in order before I purchase this set. What are your expierences with these shocks as well. Any difference in launching/cornering? I don't road race and barely get to the track, I just want a smooth ride. My current shocks in the front are shot and these look like a reasonable replacement. TIA.

They should be good all purpose shocks. I am thinking of getting some myself (the HDs and not the SLP revalved ones). What is the best price you have found?

Shoebox... a BMW place has the best price on them. Comes to about 300 bucks shipped to your door. I have a post in the Suspension/autocross forum about em.

Texas speed is doing them $315 in the GP section of this site. I'm going to pick up a set.

How much difference is there really between the revalved slps and the HDs. I dont autox at all and it will be mainly for street and trips to the strip. Are either of these decent or great for street/strip. I have heard some people say that there arent many differences between some shocks. One guy said that he used 1Le decarbons and they were decent for him. Heck I wouldnt mind Koni adjustables or QA1 shocks but those are kinda expensive.

That's what I was looking into as well but the price is what gets me. I don't hit the strip at all (well havent yet with this car) so any shock that's good in price and better then the stocks got my vote.

I assume you're talking about TX Speed? The communications I've been having with them are great, I'm ordering a set on Friday so I will let you know how everything goes.

Sorry, no. The bimmer place that ZDriver96 mentioned http://www.bimmerparts.com . $300 shipped for all 4.

Also I did not like the feedback from TXspeed. When I emailed about the original GP price it was way high (I see they reduced it). Then they sent me a new price and it was more than the advertised regular price on their web page. I emailed about that and they never responded.
