Biggest cam for stock LT1

i know this gets asked alot.. but whats the most aggressive cam a stock LT1 can handle to drop that idle down,

One of the reasons I made the decision to go with the Comp 503 is because I researched enough to find out that anything more without heads is pretty much a waste. I know some may argue, but that is how I took it and is just my opinion.

I personally wouldn't go any higher than about the 503's 224* 230* range for a stock head / stock bottem end.

now is it valve train that suffers when you get a bigger cam or is it the ports?

I'm sticking a 242/250 112lsa in mine. stock heads, stock rebuilt bottom end except ARP rod bolts. yank pt4000 stall, gonna stick 4.10s or 4.11s in it. 125-150 lbs weight reduction. hoping to go well into the 11s.
