Bigger is not always better. Get that out of your head now.

No. Depends SOLELY on how your heads flow, at both peak and mid-lift. The more correct response to the OPs question is a custom grind. Send your ported head flow numbers to AI or LE, and have them grind you something. Sure an off-the-shelf cam will work, but they are designed with a wide range of applications utilizing older camshaft technology.

like joe said bigger is not always better especially with a stock RA

no point in having a cam that peaks at XXXXrpm when you're RA's safe rev point is below that. also average power > peak power

do what joe said, get some flow numbers and head to either Lloyd Elliott (www.elliottportworks.com) or Advance Inductions (www.advancedinduction.com)

I seen peak and mid lift numbers mentioned, and yet as always low lift is left out of the picture. Low lift is where it begins and is always the last thing looked at especially when bench racing. I tend to go against the grain here and figure in little things like TORQUE, which you actually drive and what is responsible for getting your car out of the hole at "low lift".

You said you are leaving your car a 350 stock cubic incher, so what are you doing to the bottom end? Are you replacing any of the components or are you simply going to re-ring it and throw some new bearings at her? At a minimum I would replace the rod bolts as they are the weak link in a stcok bottom end, that will give you a little added insurance when you want to play with it.

Also what are the goals for your car. It doesn't sound like an all out race vehicle to me, is it going to be driven often?

as gator said rod bolts are the first weak link in the RA, under high rpm they have been known to stretch, such a thing will limit your safe revving point and limit your cam choices
