Big problem? (Engine Light)

Hello, My service engine light just started coming on, It doesn't come on until the car is at operating temperature and while giving it gas. The oil pressure seems to be higher than normal.

I start the car, no service engine light, then gets to the normal temp, then comes on. I come to a stop and the oil pressure needle goes down, a fan cuts off, then the service engine light cuts off and the oil pressure goes down. I take off again and it comes back on, repeat.

Any idea? Thanks.

Oil pressure rises and drops all the time as RPM's go up/down. Fans also turn on and stay on whenever the SES light is on regardless of temperature.

There's no way anyone can know until you get it scanned. And not knowing what year it is I wouldn't know how to tell you to go about that.

Take a trip to AutoZone, or anther store that will scan for codes and tell you what it says---no charge.
