when trying to find out what was wrong with my car, i desided that since my gauge was close to E i should try adding some gas. well that tank i grabbed was kerosine in a gas container. i only put in a half to one gallon in. did not know this under my grandpa returned telling me he had put kerosine in that tank. FU*%!!!! i even tried starting the car, it did start but only once. what should be done to protect my car?

 

definatley ciphon(sp?) or drop the tank to get it out...
then maybe some feul injector cleaner, carb cleaner.. I don';t really know...

 

after you do that, besure to dilute it with a full tank of gas.

 

do you think it firing in the engine that one time hurt anything?
