Question Best way to clean the MAF?

My sensor looks rather nasty and I want to try to clean it up a bit. I just want to find something to spray on it though since it is such a sensitive sensor.. Would some throttle body cleaner work or would that be to strong?

I would think you would want something that leaves no residue like contact cleaner. I used windex and Q tips to clean mine. Was tedious but it worked and I didnt break it all though you have to be very carefull using Q tips.

Yes you can. But as stated above, will leave a residue. Most people use electronic parts cleaner because it will not leave a residue. You can get a can from Advance, Autozone, etc. They are generally a small can, but 1 will be enough.
