Which do you use???? Or which do you think is the best?

I JUST read a great thread on this topic, unfortunately i forgot exactly which one it is, sorry.

 

im useing mobil 1 syn ATF

 

A4 = Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF
M6 = Valvoline NON SYNTHETIC Dexron III/Mercon

 

I thought ATF was for Chryslers and stuff and Dextron was for Chevy's?

 

So what does the Honda ATF go into again A4 or M6???

 

oh yea that honda atf stuff is good for M6's also but im not a big honda fan sooo

ATF means Automatic Transmission Fluid, and Dexron AND Mercon are both in the same oil. when you buy tranny fluid next look what it says on the bottle , you will see what i mean

 

 

So it doesn't even matter then???? Then why does it say to use Dextron fluid in the owners manual? Just curious.

 

I just used Aamco trans fluid when i had my 93 a4. Now i use valvoline max life atf in my m6.
