Best springs for Rocker Arms

I'm planning on installing 1.6 rocker arms and will replace the springs while I'm at it. My question is, what type of springs should I use and should I go with a double set of springs? Aside from the rocker arms, the motor is all stock. Also, I know the valve covers need to be altered in some way. Anyone have any guidance on that? Thanks for your help.

Are you planning a cam in the future? if not i'd just go with some hotcam springs. They're cheap and a single spring is a lot easier to install in my opinion. As far as altering the stock valve covers do a search. There is a post with pictures i believe that shows exactly what to do.

Another vote for the LT4 springs, they are cheap and will get the job done if you plan on upgrading the rocker arms only.

If you use the Crane Gold narrow body self-aligning 1.6 rollers there is no interference with the factory rocker covers. At least for the 1995 LT1.

Thanks for the responses. I've just did some searches on "LT4 valve springs" and can't find anything...maybe I'm searching with the wrong words? Any ideas as to where I can find these springs?

I just took off my LT4 springs for my cam swap. I'd be willing to sell them for pretty cheap.
