Best Sounding Exhaust

What do you guys think is the best sounding exhaust for LT1's? Out of the exhausts i've heard, whether it be sound clips or in real life. I'm gonna have to go with the Hooker, or GMMG. Both sound good, the GMMG flows better, but the Hooker is cheap. So what exhaust do you guys think sounds the best.

go with the mufflex system with a spintech muffler, 3 1/2" or 4" depending on your horsepower needs....

This topic has been beaten to death infinite times over. Most are going to say the exhaust that they run. I happen to run Hooker and I like it very much. Sounds mean unlike the Borla I once had which I hated with a passion. I havent heard much of the GMMG but generally people say it sounds good. If it cost ~$300 I would probably have given it a try. My next choice behind hooker would be true duals or Magnaflow.

i think i have a great sounding exhaust setup. It's not legal but it sounds awsome. I have jet-hot longtubes a custom bent 3" y-pipe and a straight pipe with a 3" bullet muffler which turns down right before the pumpkin.

I'd have to agree, but of course, because I have a spintech. I don't have a catback though, just had some custom pipe ran and am running a 3" spintech prostreet muffler. Quiet cruising (no drone), SCREAMS at WOT...love it.

I have nothing to compare it to, but I love the sound of my SLP 2OTL... although I dont care for the look. I also think that you cant beat the sound of an open cutout for a grand total of $60

heres a third vote for spin tech. I love the sound of the spin tech mufflers, it is unlike most you will hear, sounds fantastic. I am running jet hot long tubes, 2.5 inch x-pipe, 2 spin tech mufflers, and tips out back. The baffles in the spin tech muffler are in a spiral design so it makes for a nice mean sound. It is relatively quiet while cruising, but screams when wide open. Everyone has different opinions on what sounds the best but I like the spin tech sound. Get it and you will be glad you did

Custom fabbed true duals with spintechs. they sound great. They aren't too loud when you cruise but when you get on it, it will let everyone know.

Got GMMG and it sounds sweet everybody loves it. Although it can get a little loud with headers and no cats. But it is worth it! As for how much LT's and a GMMG will cost I agree with a lot. But be patient and a good deal will come along I ran into a guy that sold me the tail section for $100 and then I went down to GMMG and got the rest for a total price of $350. Well I just got lucky
