This is a much debated topic. I believe the Hooker system is considerably cheaper than the Borla, however, I chose the Borla system because I think it sounds amazing with headers. Do a search and you should find some soundclips of both systems.

If he is willing to spend the money on Borla, then get the GMMG chambered exhaust instead. The cleanest exhaust on the market by far. Just as deep as the Loudmouth, but much cleaner sounding. Borla does not even belong in the same catagory as the others. IMO if he wants very clean, deep, but not really loud, get the Corsa, if he wants clean, deep, and loud get the GMMG chambered exhaust.

Stay away from any Flowmaster.
