far and away the pro 5.0. You cut the stick as short as you'd like if its not short enough for you. Do a search, this topic is always debated.

100% agree with everything PatriotTA said, including the search suggestion.

You can't go wrong with either a Pro 5.0 or a B&M Ripper. If you decide to go with the Pro 5.0 then I would highly recommend getting a Lou short stick.

Anything is better than stock. Another vote for Pro 5.0 and Lou's short stick.

best choice would definatly be the Pro 5.0

although the last one i felt was really stiff, to stiff for my taste...but they are adjustable anyway...

i made a nice inexpensive and solid shifter by finding a short throw shifter from an SS (hurst i think) and then buying a used Lou's short stick

both combined for a fantastic solid yet short shifter, and both parts shipped came to $105

i have driven both a pro 5.0 and hurst billet plus shifter car. I prefer the hurst. The owner of the pro 5.0 also preferred my hurst.

I've driven them all as well, and like my hurst with shortened stick.

im the owner of the pro 5.0 hes referring to. i have to admitt the hurst is a really clean feeling shifter unlike the pro 5.0 which is kinda stiff like mentioned above. its a great shifter but i personally like that hurst a little better.

My black one has a B&M Ripper, and I LOVE that shifter. The Purple Pearl car has a stock Hurst out of a 01 WS6, and that shifter is a flimsy wimpy piece of junk. I haven't driven on a pro 5.0 yet, so if someone wants to volunteer to let me test it out before I make a descision on that or the B&M, I'd be appreciative!!!!

Ripper..........Hurst bites the big one when it comes to that rough shifting some of us guys like to do. mostly we get on the motor when we drive it, gun the heck out of it, and slam the shifter in the next gear!
