Best RR for clearing larger springs?

I did a search and it seems some guys have just grinded the RR's to clear the springs...but if I can buy some RR's that have enough clearance already, I would prefer that.

I have currently a set of 1.52" Comp Cams Pro Mags. They hit the spring pretty bad....but clear the retainer.

Thanks for reading.

I'm using the Crower Enduro Centerline rockers made for .100 longer valves and I have much clearance. The rocker stud hole is offset .050 which moves the rocker away from the springs and also gives you near perfect geometry with the correct length pushrod.
The SS constuction also allows for a smaller body and more clearance.

Very nice piece.

I ran into the same problem with my engine. I'm running the Scorpions on my 383 solid roller and they fit fine.

Are your springs 1.625? That is large to me. Ya can try a longer pushrod to raise the rocker up a bit but ya have to check your geometry and get the smallest width line as close to the center of the valve as possible.

You want the long slot Crower rocker arms. They will clear springs just over 1.625 in diameter.

If you're no longer running centerbolt covers you can use a Harland Sharp "wide" rocker. They clear a 1.625" spring as well. Comp may have something you can use too... but I'm not up on all their stuff.

It ends up that my Comp Cams Pro Mags are made to clear 1.500" springs...mine our 1.550" springs...so I just bought a set of Harland Sharps and problem is solved.

Thanks for the input guys.
