I have an A4 with the GU5 tranny w/ 3.23 rearend and I'm beginning to think something is wrong with the transmission. I haven't had it checked out cause I haven't had the time, but if for some reason I need to have it replaced I'm doing my homework ahead of time. I've looked for transmissions, but none ever list the gear ratios and I know that my first is 3.06. I want something a little lower (higher number), but with the same overdrive(0.70) or an even higher ratio for a little better fuel economy on the interstate. Is it possible to find a tranny like this? Please let me know if anyone has seen any or better yet, if anyone has any. Also, what length is the tailshaft? I've seen trannys for a 4 inch and for a 6 inch.
