Best place to purchase SLP Headers

I was wondering which place has the best price for some SLP Headers for a 94-95 F-body? If anybody knows please e-mail me back or reply to my post. Thanks in advance for the help.

When I was buying mine, I did some research, and actually after all the costs added up (shipping, taxes, actual cost), pretty much everyone sells it for the same price. So you might as well get them directly from SLP. I also got a free t-shirt by calling them directly, I don't know if that is still going on though. Good luck.

Every now and again SLP will have a sale, that is when I got my SLP stuff. But I have heard that TBYRNE has some really good prices.

The for sale forum. I love my slp's but they are way to expensive to buy new. I got mine for 300 hot coated on this board.

If you know somebody at a dealer try them. Dealers can order from SLP, that's how i got mine.

Hi Eric,

The SLP headers are 1 3/4 primary tubes; for your present mods you're going to loose low end torque. 1 5/8 primary tubes are a better match for your car up to 400 rwhp.

I base my loss of low end torque comment on a test comparison performed on a small block chevy motor by Hot Rod magazine. They dyno'd the same engine only switching header sizes. I believe the technical reason is keeping the optimum velocity of the hot exhaust gases. Exhaust experts might jump in here.
