Best place to get GOOD tie rods and ball joints?

I'm redoing my suspension this spring, and even though i dont need them YET, I'm sure one of them is going to go soon. Where can I get some good tie rods and ball joints for my car? Thanks!

I used Moog parts when I replaced the bushings, ball joints, and tie rod ends on my car. I used GM sway bar links, which were upgraded from the original ones. Everything worked great, very tight front end now.

As long as you buy a brand name from an auto parts store, they should be of good quality. TRW, Moog, etc.

Moog

Stay away from Mcquary Norris (sp?) I worked at a CSK for two years part time. It seems like half of all the ball joints we sold came back with in 6 months (had a one year on them). Then I went over to a small parts store that only sold Moog, I don't recall ever getting one back and I sold a lot more ball joints there than I did at CSK.

I think none of the aftermarket balljoints are as nice as the stock GM lubed-for-life balljoints. I've tried a few. The GM's are more expensive, but that's what I'm using again now.

I was thinking that, if my stockers have lasted me this far maybe I should just replace them with GM ones. Anyone know what GM charges for them? Thanks guys!

GM Parts

Call Jason Chromer and ask. He always seems to get GM parts cheaper than anyone else.

For tie rod ends i used Baer Adjustable bump steer ends with spherical (sp?) rod ends. Worked awesome, pretty expensive however.
