Re: best mod

Nitrous is always very good price/hp. But other then that I think a pair of used long tubes. Gain ya like 15 rwhp alone.

The actual answer to your qestion is n2o. How much horsepower does it add? Well anywhere from 0-400+

Re: best mod

Unless he has a built motor and from the sounds of it he does not, He does not want to go putting no 400 shot of N2o on it. Most people start with CAI or exhaust, get the car breathing.

Re: best mod

start with a huge shot of nitrous you will go from like 700rwhp to 0rwhp in the matter of seconds LOL

If it's an automatic start with a higher stall Torque Converter-not HP but get out of the hole way better. Otherwise start with intake, exhaust, headers, gears.

Re: best mod

N20 is by far the best hp/$ mod you can do.
Granted, it only lasts as long as the bottle does ("soft-HP")

A good catback and CAI are big bang-for-the-buck basic mods.
The TB Bypass will net some decent hp and costs next to nothing.
Headers will net a great HP:$ ratio, if you install them yourself.
A simple driveshaft swap (Steel VS Aluminum) runs about $75-125 and will free up some power at the wheels.

Not sure what year your car is, but a mail-order chip or PCM tune helps a lot too
Esspecially once you have the bolt-ons.

Re: best mod

I would start with the basics, headers, catback, and intake. The cold air intake will probably be the easist mod to install and it will provide some decent gains.
