Best LT1 tuning Software????

I recently bought a laptop and was wondering, what is the best software to tune the LT1's. I have a 96 but I've converted to OBD1.

Thanx in advance

Tunercat is probably the cheapest and works as good as any, AFAIK.

Ditto TunerCat. It's cheap, works on unlimited PCMs, and if you ever get to the point where you can find new tables, you can add them yourself with their definition file editor!

Zac2003, if you have an OBDI LT1 PCM ('94/'95), with an OBDII connector (16-pin), then yes, TunerCat will work. It's what I use!

TunerCAT rocks harder than montley crue... Maybe someday I'll get the RT version (just need the romulator). I use TunerCAT and it is a great program.

Yours is definately an OBDI computer, most likely with a OBDII port. Buy Tunercat and an OBD II Cable and you should be fine. Some of the earlier 95 models do have an OBDI Port.

whats the difference between the rt and the regular??

http://www.tunercat.com/tnr_desc/tnr_desc.html thats the correct link for the tuner I need right??

also if the rt is worth the 30$ I'll go ahead and get it.

Your wiring harness, opti, all that jazz stays the same. Just plug in the obd1 computer and obd1 knock sensor and you are ready to tune.
