best lt1 shop manual?

I can't find anything on the search, but i know it's been asked before. I'm looking for a good repair manual for 94 lt1. i've heard before of one that cost around 30 bucks and puts the haynes manual to shame. thanx much. links to buying these would be greatly appreciated as well

The manual you heard about is the Helm manual. They were having a $30 sale for 95 and older vehicles. Check out helminc.com to see if its still running. I got mine, its a great manual.

Helm is selling the 3-book set for $30 + shipping. It's over 3000 pages of information, like mentioned before. It is THE book to have for our cars. No other book comes close. I got mine last week.

I got my Helm manual 2 weeks ago for $30. I've already used it more than I ever thought I would. Really helped me through trimming out unnecessary stuff in the wiring harnesses and doing other wiring.

Re: best lt1 shop manual?

Just curious, how does the manual come? Paperback like a couple of phone books or loose? I had shop manuals for my 84 Z28 and they were in two big blue binders... Kinda like large three ring school binders.

Manuals

2 book set for 1994 on the top and 1 book for 1993 on the bottom. 1995 has 3 books due to the addition of the 3.8 V6 in mid-year.

Dang, that's a lot of money for the newer manuals. I got mine on ebay, like new for about $50.

Re: best lt1 shop manual?

Just ordered mine earlier today as well, thanks for the info on the 30 dollar manual. Also Shoebox, i'm guessing that your site is shbox.com. If so, thank you very much for having such an informative site up on the lt1's you saved my *** from buying a new PCM when it wasn't the problem!
