best lifters and pusrods for:

the 355 im in the process of building. im using a mild comp cc305 cam, and have crane 1.5 inch gold rockers. the heads are unmilled and ill be using a factory thickness head gasket so the pushrods will be the stock legnth. so my question is which brand would you suggest to use for my combo without breaking the bank.

also, i need a timing chain set, can anyone reccomend me a good one?

The pushrod legnth will also be dependant on the lifters you choose.

Just get the chromoly one piece pushrods from any of the major brands, and the "LS7" lifters. Best bang for the buck!

Just buy the stock replacement gears and chain. Many have gone this route without a problem.
