Best intake for an LT1

I wondering if their is a better cold air intake for the LT1, I have the SLP cold air and am happy with it, but if their is something better I have to know! Thanx for your input!

I have the Lingenfelter Intake. The plastic piping that connects to the giant air filter went bad on me. The end of it buckled so it's no lonager a circle, it's a circle with a dent in the side. It's rigged up to work until I get something that won't break on me.

You have one of the best ones made.If there is a better one out there, whats it maybe 1/2 of a HP?Not worth worrying about.Put your money in more useful mods.

You won't see any gain with a different intake. They all perform about the same.

Would be much less worth the trouble. You would have to change many things to get a ls-1 lid setup ion a lt-1 camaro.

I already looked into it, all I need is the LS1 radiator support, Lid, and bellow. It wouldn't cost too much but I wonder if its worth it. Does anyone know if I could custom make my intake, this is what I want, to remove the fog lights and have 2 vacuum like scoops sucking the air up to the TB. Is this possible??

Why?? You might gain a hp or two... but who cares?

Spend your money on something else to make it faster, the SLP cai is the best out there for the LT1 as far as looks go.. performance wise? the k&N, moroso, SLP. they're all the same.

only reason to convert over to a ls1 setup would be if you also do a fast toys ram air setup. Other than that I would think that there would be no advantage to changing.

I have a Callaway CAI (Moroso).

Very happy with it but I found that a home made one made from a flexible pipe and a K&N air filter seemed to make more power.
