best header gaskets to buy and bolts

I have a set of pacesetter LT on the way and I was wondering what is the best gaskets and bolts to buy. I plan on installing once and them being fine. I don't want to have to put new gaskets on every month or tighten bolts. Remember that my LTs are uncoated. thanks

Cool

Since nobody chimed in, I'd say do a search(up above). It seems the copper gaskets have created a big problem with leaking.Hope this helps.

Agree on the Fel-Pro 1406. I have used these on 2 different motors as my second set. First set on both was copper, and I swore never to use them again.

As for the bolts, I used the standard 6pt 1" ARP header bolts. They also have a hex on the inside which is nice for some spots. I use the locking clips too. They don't seem to back up, but I'd recomend about a month after install to go back and make sure they're still tight. After that, you should never have to worry about them again.

The MR. Gasket Ultraseals are very nice too. Similar construction to the Felpro's. You can get them at Autozone (Mr. Gasket's)

Copper's didn't work for me, but I didn't RTV them like some say you should.

I've had no problems with my copper gaskets. I also use the Stage 8 bolts. You can get them from thunderracing. I got my gasket from sumitt.

Take your pick on any of the locking bolts.
The split locks are pretty neat, but I have the Stage-8 locking ones.

Summit #STG-8911A (Bolts)
Summit #EAR-29DA3B (Gaskets)

I have never had a leak, and the inserts are replaceable.

For the gaskets go with the Felpro 1406's and for the header bolts go with these: www.go-breslin.com. With this combo you can't go wrong!
