I hope you got the white Lisle set of fuel line disconnect tools. If not, return the OEM/Performance Tools colored set you bought and pick up the Lisle set. Otherwise you will be cussing all night long and have nothing to show for it (ask me how I know...).

You have slim to no chance of getting a torque wrench under $60 and if you did, I wouldn't trust its readings. If you have to borrow a nice one, do so, but its worth spending the $70-100 for a decent one. Tools are an investment

Lisle set? Where can you get that? I will need to disconnect mine pretty soon and I'd like to have the right tool.

I got mine at Murray's. It is under $10 and has a nifty holder for all the tools. I don't think AutoZone carries that brand.

Any ideas on where else to purchase the Liste tool. Does PepBoys or Checker Auto Parts carry them?
Thanks

I got my Lisle from Murray's. I don't have a PepBoys or Checker near me, its basically AutoZone or Murray's, and I know AZ didn't have them. Its a whole set of little plastics disc-like tools.

Autozone has a cheap disconnect tool for the fuel lines. I think it was about 6 bucks and was adjustable to fit just about any line.

Taking off the fuel lines is just going to cost you time. Unbolt the rail, slide the wiring harness behind the intake manifold and shcrader valve, the move away. It will give you plenty of room to remove the intake.
