I'm new to the Camaro forum but have done many searches, still leaving me with questions. What is the best free-flowing exhaust to make maximum horsepower without being overly obnoxious? Current, I have Tri-Y headers (1 & 5/8" primaries with 2 & 1/2" outlets) and 2 & 1/2" export pipes. I looking at doing a 3" Dr. Gas X-pipe with some mufflers in front of the axle and dumping it there. Thinking about 40-series Flowmaster race mufflers. Car is not daily driven. Looking for quickest et while still being able to drive to the track without all my neighbors calling the police. I'm running stock heads/cam shifting at 5500 rpm. Best et is 8.72 with a 1.76 60'.
