Best Clutch/short throw shifter

I just purchased a 95 Formula with 100,000 miles on the stock clutch. I will need to replace the clutch soon and I was curious as to what is the best clutch on a budget? I plan to eventually do a cam swap so I would like something better than stock, but I do not want something so hard I cant push it, and money is an issue. I was also wondering which short throw shifter yall like the best? Thanks.

You can do a search for this type of thing - and likely get many good threads out of it.

Quick answer though.............don't know about the clutch as that I'm still on the stocker.
I like my B&M Ripper, but you'll find that opinions vary greatly about which is "best".

i have seen alot of people with Spec clutches, but like pandamonkey said i would do a search, should be lots of info. as far as the shifter goes, most people seem to go with either the B&M ripper or the Pro 5.0. i think they both perform about the same except with the b&m u cant change the shifter length. i have the b&m ripper and love it.

I read a lot of good things about the SLP clutch while doing a search, but I plan on doing a cam swap in the future and I dont know if the SLP will hold the added horsepower? Is the SLP good enough for this, or shoud I be looking into a Spec Stage II?

I'm in a similar boat. Had to decide on the Spec Stage II or the SLP. SLP is a gamble if you start getting into mods past plain old bolt ons. I'll be going with the Spec unit. The SLP is basically the stock clutch but improved upon. Heard nothing but good things about both clutches but the Spec is rated at 475 hp holding capacity and gives you room to work with. Go with the Spec.

And I like my B&M ripper.
