BEST(and cheapest) long tube header?

The best would be Kooks, the cheapest would be the Pacesetters. It is hard to get the get both of those traits together.

Pacesetters are pretty good and cheap, but mine are rusting down at the bottom and its only been a year and a half. They were coated too.

Mine started rusting in less then a years time. It at first started with a few spots on the bottom, now the whole headers have rust on them. The car never sees rain or snow either.

Best thing to do for headers beginning to rust is to jump down there every oil change and hit them with a coat of high temp coating. You will never have to worry about rust again. Buddy of mine has been doing that since installation and no rust on his headers after several years. Of course we are in TX and don't use salt on the roads.

This is the best reply of all.

You want cheap but still able to do the job go with pacesetter.

You want best in term of everything go with Kooks.

Just like 2000gtp said ,its like everything in life you cant get both of the 2 world

my pacesetters are going on saturday, i'll try to take pics and stuff of how they went on, explain any fitment issues and such


i had my reducers welded on at a shop before i'm putting them on the car since i'll be using a lift to install.
