After looking through some post it seem that achieving 400+rwhp with the LT4 setup can be hard. The reason I am going with a LT4 setup is because it seems to be the best buy after being told that my LT1 heads that I sent off to be milled and ported were bad (had been overheated). So my question is can I put a GM847 Cam or a CC306 on the LT4 setup without having to change springs and rockers? Or would it be better to just build my own setup from a bare Trick flow head looking for 400+rwhp. I have a 1992 Camaro and putting in a '92 Vette motor going to freshen up the bottom end and new heads and cam. What will get me over or to that hp range?

lt4 springs will NOT hold a gm847. they are good to i thin k525..they will barely support the LT4 hotcam from what im told. and honestly..to get 400rw..just go with an LE2 setup...he does amazing work..and is a great guy to deal with. plus if you get a set of core lt1 heads(you can get em off someone selling lt1 heads for about 250) you can get them ported and have the proper springs put on..and his custom cam..all for i think 1500. or his heads for 1300. I actually have a set of stock LT1 heads that are coming off my 30,000mile LT1(1996) and ill sell them to you for 250$. They are coming off wednesday. Let me know if you want them. Maybe we can work something out.
