best cam

hey guys i am about to put a set off either mac or hooker headers on the car, i have a 1997 ss. im thinking about using true duals but i wanna keep one cat. to pass emissions so maybe just do a custom y pipe, i really wanna use an h pipe for the sound, it is gonna be 3" all the way back , i wanna to also put in a good mid range / high range cam, i love the really lumpy sound let me know how this setup is going to be and what cam and header to go with....
Thanks guys for the help, and sorry for anyone who was offended buy what i said earlier..
thanks

I don't know wher you are at but if you think that keeping one cat will stay legal than I am guessing your are not in california. a lot of guys like the 503 cam. It can pass smog on a good tune. I have a cam that is a little more mild than that one for sale and passes emmissions rather easily.(502 grind with a 112 lsa sounds a little more lopey)

Kinda confused. You said you want true duals but you are also gonna run one cat. You can't do both. If you run duals you would have to run dual cats to stay legal. Also if you run duals, 3" would be a waste of time as the 350 just dosn't require it at any RPM. Dual 2.5" would be plenty big enough.
