Which belt squeaking?
Which belt squeaking?
Car just contracted a new noise. This one is an annoying "squeak squeak squeak" almost like a chirp present only when accelerating. '94 /w 112k and recently had LTs installed. Whilst in park there is no squeak until you give it some gas. Which belt(s) commonly goes on these?
P.S. could it be the alternator? I got a refurb back in January and have noticed my voltage dipping low if I sit at a light too long.

I shall venture the guess: the ONLY belt
If it only squeaks at high electrical demand (right after start up, lights on, etc), the source of squeakery may the be increased load of the alternator. The belt might just be glazed, or your battery might be wearing out.

I feel dumb, don't know what was going through my mind. Anyway, I'll try tomorrow during the day (headlights seem to cause the low voltage) and see how it does. If not Its going under the knife.
The squeak continues. I had the tensioner pulley replaced which had some play in it. It didn't fix the problem. We also noticed that the A/C pulley was pretty worn too. The A/C doesn't work anymore, and hasn't since I got the car. The squeak is still there, I'm just trying to rule out any suspension or lifter issues before I buy parts randomly trying to fix the problem.
I'll try to help isolate this, the squeak is a constant "chirp chirp chirp" that sounds like rubber squeaking almost and doesn't occur when the car is idling, only once a moderate amount of gas is given. I don't think its suspension related because if I coast down a road there is no chirp until I start accelerating again, it is definitely somewhere on the engine. Do motor mounts make this noise? I'm just worried it is something much worse. Car is a '94 Z28 with 112k.
