bell housing

i have all my bell housing bolts off except for one and it got stripped any suggestions on how to get it loose??? its the passenger side one on top

hhave you lowered the back of the trans down to improve access?

you might need to pound a smaller socket on with a hammer

I've got a set of these nut/bolt removal tools from Craftsman, and they work great.

Those sockets from Craftsman are great. I would just try standard and metric sockets on it until you find one that is very snug and try it again. You will need a couple of long extensions and you lower the rear of the tranny and try it that way.

this is my first time at doing this but do i need to lift the engine up to get the last bellhousing bolt out?

No, you don't need to lift the engine. I used two universal joints to get the right angle for those upper bolts. That was using a medium and long extention.
