Beating up the cam question some more

Im in the middle of having to re-ring my stroker and thinking about swapping cams. But not sure. I have the Hotcam now but was thinking about the cc306 but i dont know if i want ot give up my torque. Ive read posts till my eyes went crossed but I would like to see some different cams with dyno numbers and track times to help me deciode. And some comments of when the cams really "kicks in". I know its been beat to death but I would appreciate the help

i wouldn't worry about giving up torque

take an Xe grind

how about the 224/230 on the high lift grind?

Well I told my machinist tonight i want about 500hp out of the motor when hes done with it. Will an XE grind accomplish this or should I just get the 306 and be done with it. I know a lot of it depends on other variables but I dont want to find out down the road the cam i have wont get me there. thanks
