Bearing readers inside!

So, I pulled a main cap from the 383 today. I think it looks good, but I wanted some expert opinion.

Basically, there are two thin white lines (not 100% white, but close) on each side of the middle of the bearing with darker lines (not very dark, but noticably darker) on the outside of each line. There is also white on each end of the bearing. There are also some dark specks here and there, but not very dark etc.

I am thinking this is normal for 3000 miles and 30+ trips down the track.

What do the experts think?

Impossible to diagnose from a description and nearly the same even with pictures. If there is anything that will catch your fingernail, then it needs attention.

Ok thanks shoebox. I will see if I can get some pictures today at work. There is nothing though that catches the fingernail, still smooth as a baby's bottom.
