Angry BBK Underdrive Instructions

Hey guys,

Ok, I lost the directions to my BBK underdrive pulley kit... got the stock belt off.. but how do you get the whole thing off?? The kit came with 3 bolts that are substantially longer than the stock bolts...and I can't find any info on the web about how to complete the install... does anyone have a link to instructions or diagrams? Thanks for the help.

you dont need instructions. send the POS back. i put one of those on my car. a week later my ses light was on. a week after that it went off and than about a month later it came back on FOR GOOD. Even after i put the sotcker back on. the dam light has been on for months and know one knows why. the code is P0336 if any one wants to know. it was the worst thing i have ever doen to my car. If anyone knows how to fix this peoblem please tell me

Thats pure and total coincidence. Hundreds of people have installed BBK under drive pulleys on their cars. Did they all get a P0336 code? I doubt it. I've had a BBK pulley for over 20000 miles now with no problem.

To install the pulley, remove the belt and the three bolts holding on the harmonic balance. Then carefully pry the balancer off. Don't use too much force, a puller might help.

Once off, install the under drive pulley onto the crank hub then put the balancer back over onto the underdrive pulley and use the bolts that came with the pulley. Thats why the bolts are longer, you have to install the balancer back over the pulley.

Use a Dayco #5060595 or Gates #K0606594 serpentine belt or any equivalent belt from Autozone/NAPA
