I am running 0/2 Gauge. Welding supply stores sell large gauge wire pretty cheap and they are the multistranded so they are quite flexible.

I use twin 4G (I had like 80 feet of "Stinger" 4g and it seemed like a shame to waste). I have a 80amp ANL style fuse on each 18" from the battery. Never had an issue in many years.
