Here goes,

I have been chaseing an electrical gremlin for a while now and I think I have it narrowed down to the battery cables. I went to the store to get new cables and the (very unhelpful I may add) store associate told me that he had no idea what length the cables should be and I should take them out and measure them. I was wondering if you fellas knew what size / length cables would be the best bet for me.

There was a post the other day about battery cables and where to get them. It would be better than buying "universal" cables by length. You might try a search. ...it could have been in the general tech forum...
