Battery bolt size?

This is probably a stupid question, but here it goes.

Does anyone know what size bolt holds the battery wedge in? I can't seem to find any around the garage to fit it and it would be heck trying to guess. That would end up in a lot of trips in and out of the hardware store.

I am going to the track soon and I need to hook this battery down to pass tech. I just need to know what size/length bolt it is.

Thanks guys

Hey Shoebox thanks for the reply. Pardon my ignorance but how exactly do I interperet that?

grade 8 bolt
1.25?
75?
Length?

I am obviously pretty lost in a hardware store.

It is how at metric bolt is described.

M8 is the thread major diameter in millimeters.

1.25 is the thread pitch in millimeters

75 is the length in millimeters

For example: compare to how you would say 3/8-16, opposed to M8x1.25. You are still describing thread and pitch.
