battery or alt?

Okay, I just got done my turbo swap and the car was running fine, alt was charging BC at first I had a small charge wire and it melted tryin to charge the battery. So I put a 4awg wire for the charge wire.
Now all of a sudden I am dumping in my 2 bar tune (after the car ran for 10min) and the pcm gets fried bc the battery got to low.

So I jump start the car (I had anoter PCM) and the car runs for like 15 seconds then dies.
So I decided to charge the battery, left it for a couple hours and come home and the car runs for like 2 minutes then dies.

The battery is 3 years old and has lost charge about 3 times in the last 2 months (do to running the car no alt and checking all my wiring etc )
Also the battery is only like a 600CC amp battery, I always wanted to buy a new optima or something but didn’t wanna waste money.
So could it be the battery isn’t holding charge and I chould get a new one? I would suspect alt but it just seems weird bc the alt has been rebuilt and only has like 10-15KM on it.

Take both the alt and the battery to your local autoparts store and have em' checked as they can tell you if the battery is bad and not holding a charge as well as if the alt is not putting out the correct amp or volt.

If you have a meter you could put the meter on the battery and see the voltage then start it and see if it goes up. If the voltage does not go up I would say its the Alt. That's how I check it anyway.

OKay so I charged the battery and it was around 12.05V after a few starts. I remade the wires at the starter and they seem good.

Now I start the car and the voltage doesnt go to the normal 13.5-14.5V.

If i take the alt wire off the battery should there be voltage there?
