I have to suggest the corsa. Its quieter than stock at cruising from inside the car. But its a mean mother when you get on it. My friend has one, and I am paying for mine today. Its great, but not cheap.

From outside the car its pretty loud, but from inside its not. See if you can find someone with the exhaust in your home town so that you can hear it for yourself.

Nothing will sound like a 5.0 with a flowmaster. Most here agree that Stangs actually are very nice sounding with just about any after market muffler on them. They just sound good. Do your long tubes flow straight out, or do you have them connected to a Y pipe? That also can contribute.

far be it from me to complain, I personally dont like what most mustangs around here sound like. I think they have a hollow trash can sound. I did hear a good one yesterday though, and the 03 cobra is pretty nice. I am kinda partial to the older muscle car sounds, like the chevelles and the nova's and the chargers and the Shelby Cobra's OML, they just dont make them like they used to , thats ok, I'll get my car to sound that way too.

Magnaflow!

I installed one on my car back in May...

My car has stock manifolds, y-pipe, etc... ALL STOCK except for SLP CAI...

Both clips below were recorded using my laptop, from the same distance from the tips, and roughly the same position relative to the center of the car. The laptop was sitting on the ground, centered on the rear of the car and about 4-5 feet back.

Watch the volume, the stocker is quiet so you'll probably turn the speakers up, then the Magnaflow is much louder so you'll have to turn them down. Set them so you can hear the stock one, and then listen to the Magnaflow.

Here's the sound clips:

personally ...i love my loudmouth...but then again i have stock manifolds and y-pipe....ive heard it hella loud with headers on the car... but yea ..if i just do some easy driving...shifting aroudn 2500...it sounds great and smooth...if i get outta control like this morning when i raced my buddies 3.8 v6 camaro...ha raped em....then yea it gets loud...so i just bring out the beast when i wanna fool around...other than that the loudmouth sounds easy going and deep.... but i dont think you wanna go with it since oyu have headers...i think mufflex makes an exhaust to hook up to that 4" y-pipe you have...may wanna look into that...and oh yea..i had the magnaflow muffler on my stock i-pipe a lil while back...just ditched it for the loudmouth....but yea here is what it sounds like....

I like the sound of the MagnaFlow. I guess you can't beat the price. I think that's what I'm getting.

The corsa is quiet. Well, as quiet as an exhaust can be on these cars. My friend has it and there is no cabin noise. I also have several friends with the loud mouth. SLP mandrel bent tubing, I mean am I right guys.

loudmouth

Corsa

probably the first thing you will notice is that the corsa actually has a muffler. There isn't really a better exhaust out of the two. Its just a question of whether you want to drive around in a 2 door harley or not. The only other problem with the loudmouth is that the rear resinator blocks you from puting in a rear driveshaft loop like the one found on the Spohn torque arm.
