Question Ball Bearing Oil Gallery Plug??

When disassembling my engine I removed the ball bearing that was pluging the oil gallery so that all of the oil passages could be cleaned properly. After sending the engine out to have all the machine work done, I was suprised to find a small freeze plug in that oil gallery passage. I called the machine shop and they told me it would be fine and that I could use the freeze plug instead, but I want to make sure... should I remove the freeze plug and install the bearing, or will it be fine??

nothin' wrong with the freeze plug. If hundreds of thousands of engines say it is ok, that is good enuf for me.
