what a joke......all it is, is an underdrive pulley and it is only underdriven by 10% lmao. I would expect anywhere from 1-2 hp max with this thing.


Edit: that thing doesn't even look like it would fit a modern day lt1.......maybe it is for the older lt1?

its a whole new balncer not just the pulley

hummmmmmm....... if i get 2 and bolt them together.... damn 30 HP! lets see 4 x 15 =......... and i thought it was all about pistions, heads and cams. I just now need to figure out how to get 10 of thes on my car. Wonder if i bolt on to each wheel does that give me 15 as well? 2 on the spare tire, maybe one on the exhaust tip, get rid of the speakers, one in each door, boys i can see an easy 500 extra hp coming for cheap!!

They are just going along with the common view of ud pulleys adding 10-15 hp or so. Just like every other performance product out there.

It is known however that balancers can create hp by damping bad vibes from the recip assy. They also save bearings. I can see where a very good engineered aftermarket balancer can add more hp than you would expect on even a stock motor.

 

10%....any underdrive pulley i've seen is either 25% or the highest is ASP with 34%...

here is a dyno of a hypertech pulley which is probably around 25%...

no where NEAR 15hp

 

I hear these things work best when used with those electric superchargers on ebay

 

That is only if you have the Tornado in there.
