Bah Dtc

Well today I was fliping through the new LT1 Scanmaster I just purchased a couple of weeks ago, while the car was warming up. Well then it happend. I notice that I picked up a DTC. It was #18. I checked Injuneer's site, and it says that means Injector Circut. So I'm like WTF, car seem to be running like it always does.

I don't even know where to begin with diagnosing this.

I'm going to go for a small cruise in a little bit, to see if it comes up again. The car seems to run fine, but ever since I did the headers and true duals, I can listen to the motor more through the exhaust. Since its louder. At idle in closed loop you can hear a faint pop, like a quiet missfire. But yet, the rpms dont drop, and it does not do this durring driving. I'm wondering if this might be the culprit.

Can you guys shed some light on this DTC #18 for me, or at least give me some more tests for me to run, or somthing? Your help is much appreciated.

Oh, should I go reset the pcm, and see if it comes back in. According to what I'm reading it looks like they are stored . So if the problem goes away (say it was just a goof up or somthing) , will the dtc go away?

Re: Bah Dtc

I would clear it and see if it comes back.

Re: Bah Dtc

I'll clear it tomorrow after work, and drive it for a couple of miles and see what happens.

Thanks,
Mike
