bad vibration when accelerating

Whenever i accelerate between 2500rpms and 4500rpms the car vibrates really bad. Its the whole car and not just one section either. It is rpm based and has nothing to do with how fast I cam going. No matter what gear i am in, it vibrates between 2500 and 4500. The weird thing is no matter how hard I am accerlerating, it quits after 4500 rpms.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Josh

I would have to agree. I bet the motor is out of balance. I had one of those. It would rattle your teeth out and about 5000 would smooth out. I had the rotating assemble rebalanced with the flexplate and now smooth as silk.
Or maybe look into the universal of the driveshaft.

Does it vibrate when it's out of gear?
If so, you know the answer.

Re: bad vibration when accelerating

Well, it didn't do it when I first bought the car and if i recall (car has been sitting) it does not do it when its not in gear. I was talking to BMR because I am having a problem with my Trak pak torque arm and he said that it is probably the pinion angle. Hopefully by Monday I can at least check the pinion angle and see if that is the culprit.
