hi, my dad is looking to buy a 94 z28, when it first starts, it has an exhaust leak. as it warms up, it has an unusual noise from the valve train. around the area of the exhaust leak. anyone had problems like this? if so is it expensive to fix? the car has 135k miles and its $3000... is it worth the $3000 thanks for any info

 

3K is about right, my LT1 has always had real noisy valve train. What does the sound you hear sound like.
