Bad news...tonight I find out what happened.

I have been fighting a high rpm issue for years so late last week I swapped out the stock opti (which was completely destroyed internally) with an Accel unit and get my t-brake hooked up.

So Saturday I am buttoning the car up...fire it up to start bleeding the coolant system. The car was on jack stands in the front and I knew that my vacuum pump had pulled some oil.

I took a look at the gauges for the first minute when I fired up the car and everything looked fine, but after 10 minutes of idling the motor seized.

The only thing I can think it being is an oil pump shaft broke or I simply ran the motor out of oil.

So tonight I pull the engine and see what happened and the extent of the damage...which I am hoping is just a crank turning and bearings.

If this happened this time next year, I would be ok with it because I would be getting ready for my twin turbo on, but I plan on running the car for a season learning the F.A.S.T. system.

I am kicking myself in the **** if it was something as simple as checking oil...if that is it, I will just have to remember that putting vacuum pump and the reservoir in the wrong direction is a no no.

Well, at least I can fix a few things that I did not like.

Sorry to hear about that man. Dont get to caught up in the "while the motor is out I might as well do this". That tends extend the down time of projects.

Ends up the motor was not seized...the CSR starter seized so hard it stopped me from turning the motor with everything I had.

Pulled it out and presto...motors turns by hand just fine.
