I just changed my fuel filter, and when I shake the old one I can hear the element inside bouncing all around inside. I DID run out of gas ONE time. The fuel filter doesn't seem to have been changed EVER (car has 58k on it, I bought the car used) Has anyone experienced gains at the track PURELY from changing the fuel filter before?

 

Well I would change it. I think I paid around ten bucks for my filter. With all the crap that is in you gas it's well worth ten bucks compaired to changing fuel injectors. That happened to my beretta, Dirt in the injectors.
