Angry Bad exhaust leak! HELP!

I just got done installing new gaskets on my SLP shorties. But, now I have a exhaust leaks all over the place. I tightened all the header bolts and collector bolts. Does anyone have an idea of where it is all coming from? If it is any consolation we did all this while the car was on the jack stands. I used the SLP installation kit.

Thanks
Jeremy

Header flange flat? Did you use a quality header gasket? 3/4" bolts are too short IMO for gripping power.

Get yourself a short (3-4 foot) piece of garden hose and use it as a stethascope (sp?) to find where the leaks are.

It works great when trying to pinpoint exhaust leaks

The headers were on there before and never had any problems. I blew a head gasket and when the dealer put a new one on they put the paper gaskets back on and they blew within a few hours. I just sounds like leaks are all over the place.

I just thought of this today, but the leak sounds more like a intake leak and not the ticking sound that is associated with exhaust leaks. I was out checking around the MAF, but everything seems tight.

I found out what it was. I must have knocked off some intake tube that goes into the intake on the driver side, dont know what it is. Hooked that back up and she purs like a loud kitten.
